Your Committee
The committee for 2019-2020 is ~
Hello from the Committee of Honeybun Tenants' & Residents' Association. The TRA was formed in 2014 for all those who live on the Honeybun. We are the latest incarnation of the various Honeybun residents' associations going back at least to the early 1980's (possibly earlier - let us know if you know of one).
Whether you are a tenant, leaseholder or homeowner; whether you live in a Council property, Housing Association or Sheltered Housing; whether you own your own home, or rent from someone else, the Association is for you.
By joining together and by offering a collective voice on issues that affect us all – from street-lighting to refuse collection, fly-tipping to the use of green space, policing to parking – we aim to work with the Council, housing associations, the Police, local business and in fact anyone who'll help us make the Honeybun an even better place for us all to live, and to help foster a sense of community that may offer help, support and advice to our neighbours.
We all know that there are lots of good reasons for living around here and we also know that there are lots of things that need to be improved. We aim to ensure that the Council & all those with an interest & responsibility in our neighbourhood, are doing their very best for us and also to encourage tenants and residents to do what they can too. By showing that we, the people who live here, care about our area, we hope that others will do the same.
Simply by living on the Honeybun you qualify as a member of the Association and as such you are entitled and very welcome to attend our meetings. If you’d like to be more involved just please email us at [email protected] or give us a call on 07594 490976 If you give us your contact details we can send you the minutes of our meetings and info about what we're doing, or you can just come along and show your support, we’d love to see you.
- Chairman Terry Frisch
- Vice Chairman Vacant
- Secretary Jo Bishop
- Treasurer Mike Bishop
- Committee members Kevin Duddy, Rosemary Attack, Andre Trichet.
